August 2019 Newsletter

G'day Folks,

Just a cooey to let you all know about two new songs that I have just recorded and released as digital download singles.  "The Ballad of Black Caviar" in honor of Australia's great racing mare "Black Caviar" and as well as a bush ballad titled, "His Last Cattle Drive" which is a true story of a western Qld drover Norman Quinlan who survived the first world war then resumed work as a station manager and drover only to lose his life in the flooded Thompson River.  Both these songs will be included in my next CD offering mid 2020.  Both songs were penned by Carmelo Cacciola from Brisbane.  These two songs are available as digital downloads from my website www.deanperrett.com.  Also available on ITUNES, Apple Music and Spotify.

In other news life on the land remains a constant grind through the dry weather, Praying for rain for us all to fall very soon.  I will be out and about performing at country music festivals over the next 3 months including Phil & Chris Coad's traditional country muster in Bundaberg.  The great Heritage Nanango Country Muster and Mildura Country Music Festival.

See you somewhere along the track.

Kind Seasons

Dean
